After 25 years of practicing as a psychotherapist rooted in arts and somatics, I am delighted to be accompanying other therapists in their growth and development. I support therapy students, recent graduates, and long-time practitioners who come from a range of professional backgrounds, and who are seeking innovative, creative, inspiring, mentorship.

I have been holding trainings for therapists for 23 years and am faculty with the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute (KATI) teaching in Canada, and with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, teaching in Canada, the USA, Europe, and Japan.

In addition to offering workshops and clinics, I also offer individual and small group consultation and supervision for practitioners, and you are welcome to book time with me.

It is very true that consultation is a threshold where we may feel vulnerable to step in, yet it is a fruitful edge. Through this mentoring, we can grow our own courage, sense of worth, belonging, and groundedness, and improvisational artistry..

What a brave, generous, and growth-fostering journey it is to deepen as a practitioner in healing arts work. This field is fascinating and meaningful. However, the work can also can be stressful, challenging, and intense, and many clinicians feel isolated at times in the midst of this challenging work.

Consultation can provide deeply creative and sustaining accompaniment which nurtures our capacity and our wellbeing.

EAGLE POEM

To pray you open your whole self
To sky, to earth, to sun, to moon
To one whole voice that is you
And know there is more
That you can't see, can't hear
Can't know except in moments
Steadly growing, and in languages
That aren't always sound but other
Circles of motion.
Like eagle that Sunday morning
Over Salt River. Circled in blue sky
In wind, swept our hearts clean
With sacred wings.
We see you, see ourselves and know
That we must take the utmost care
And kindness in all things.
Breathe in, knowing we are made of
All this, and breathe, knowing
We are truly blessed because we
Were born, and die soon within a
True circle of motion,
Like eagle rounding out the morning
Inside us.
We pray that it will be done
In beauty.
In beauty.
